NBFC Summer School on Ecological Restoration

On 8 September 2025, the first Summer School in Ecological Restoration, organized by the NBFC – National Biodiversity Future Center, Università degli Studi di Genova e la Rete Italiana Ripristino Ecologico, was inaugurated at the University of Genova.

As part of the program, the PRIN 2022 PNRR project “Rinasci” contributed two interventions: the first addressing policies on biodiversity restoration, and the second presenting the contents of the Nature Restoration Regulation (EU) 2024/1991. These sessions featured contributions from project members Morgan Eleanor Harris and Eleonora Ciscato.

The Summer School represented a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences on ecological restoration law, policies, and practices with a new generation of restoration professionals.
